Habitat for Humanity's youth program, Youth United, gives youth ages 5 - 25 the ability to become involved with Habitat's mission of building decent, affordable housing.  Bergen County Habitat's Youth United program provides different levels of opportunity for youth of all ages.  

Teens from Middle Schools, High Schools and College meet monthly to plan recruitment strategies, advocacy events and fundraisers.  Youth ages 16 and older also have the ability to do hands on construction on our build sites.  Participation in Youth United gives teens the ability to work with peers from all over Bergen County.  Youth United also provides teens with the ability to take on leadership roles by learning planning and action strategy, chairing committees and serving on the Steering Committee, Youth United's Leadership Corps.
