Youth United
Habitat Bergen's Youth United
HfHBC's youth program, Youth United provides individuals ages 5-25 the opportunities to participate in our mission of building decent, affordable housing. Our Youth United program provides different activities and levels of involvement for youth of all ages. Individuals from Middle Schools, High Schools and Colleges meet monthly to plan recruitment strategies, advocacy events and fundraisers. Volunteers ages 16 and older also have the ability to do hands on construction on our build sites. Participation in the Youth United activities facilitates cooperation and team work with peers from all towns in Bergen County. Youth United also provides opportunities for leadership including participation in strategy sessions, sharing committees and serving on the Steering Committee, Youth United's Leadership Corps.
