HABITAT FAMILIES RECEIVE KEYS TO THEIR HOMES

On September 14th Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County presented the keys to two more deserving families in Englewood.  The Ferreira and Guzman Families celebrated with friends, family, Habitat Bergen staff and Board Members, supporters and volunteers as they stepped across the thresholds of their new homes.  This is the third duplex within the the Third Street Redevelopment Project that is now home to six families including 10 adults and 19 children.

THE DREAMBUILDER WALK RAISES MONEY THROUGH SPONSORSHIP
The following corporations are major sponsors of the Dreambuilder Walkathon that will take place on November 2, 2008 at the campus of Farleigh Dickinson University.  OritaniSavingsBank Charitable Foundation, Boiling Springs Savings Bank, Commerce Bank, Bogota Savings Bank, Lakeland Bank, Pearson, Hunter Douglas and MTM Resources.

Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County Mission Statement - Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County is a not-for-profit organization working in partnership with God and people everywhere toward the goal of eliminating poverty housing and homelessness.  Using volunteer labor and donated funds and materials, Habitat builds or rehabilitates simple, decent houses and sells them to families at cost, with no interest added, so that every person can experience God’s love and live as God intends..
